| ::THE
REPORT:: |
.
The fourth bull-running of Sanfermin 2002 was a drawn-out
run (6 minutes and 35 seconds) but it did not cause
any serious injuries nor inflict any gorings - just
one runner suffered contusion at the stretch leading
into the bull-ring. One of the bulls from the Gutiérrez
de Lorenzo breeder fell in the passageway entrance and
stayed prostrate on the ground for some minutes. When
it eventually got back on its feet it turned back out
and ran back up the sloping stretch but it was quickly
led back into the ring by some good work from some of
the runners and the guides with their capes soon led
him to the bullpen. |
