| ::THE
REPORT:: |
Some fine close-in running could be appreciated along
Estafeta street in front of the fast-moving Jandilla
bulls. The length of the street and the widening gaps
that opened between "Trovador", the leader of the pack
and "Romero" bringing up the rear, meant that the runners
could run in close to the horns and slip out again,
taking turns in taking that satisfying risk of playing
with danger. The bull bringing up the rear moved at
a slower pace. He was lunging from side to side and
he charged and slightly gored a runner at the crossing
with Espoz y Mina street without causing a serious wound.
Further ahead, the same brown-colored bull charged into
the fencing at Tejeria without getting at any of the
runners or spectators. |
