| ::THE
REPORT:: |
There were no injured on this stretch today. The bulls
ran quickly down the fenced slope and entered the ring
where they tended to turn towards the right. The men
with the capes quickly caught their attention and led
them towards the pens. The only dangerous moments occurred
when the final bull entered alone. Having already halted
and turned round several times in Teléfonica,
it began to do the same on the slope leading down to
the ring, which was the cause of some tension. However,
the bull decided to continue his run forward into the
ring without causing any problems.
Once it was safely in the pen, the rocket went off to
signal that all the bulls were safely in their pens
and the run had finished. The whole run had only taken
2 minutes and 55 seconds. These bulls from the Dolores
Aguirre breeder, whose previous appearance on the streets
of Pamplona goes back six years, proved to have made
a fine clean and aesthetically satisfying bull-run today. |
