| ::THE
REPORT:: |
The group made a compact exit from the pen but, on the
first part of the slope in Santo Domingo street, three
black bulls moved rapidly to head the pack as they headed
up the right side of the street. Behind them another
group of two black bulls moved up the sloping street
on the left side and behind them the sixth bull ran
alone, all of them leaving the bell-oxen to bring up
the rear. There were less runners to be seen today on
this stretch and this helped towards making for some
fine running as the runners had the opportunity to get
close to the three small groups of bulls. The wild bulls
ran fast and straight and did not make any lunges at
the runners around them thus making this stretch free
of any dangerous moments today. |
