| ::THE
REPORT:: |
The runners on this stretch had the opportunity to run
close in front of the leading three Miura bulls who
continued with their strapping intrepid pace as they
moved ahead and paid no heed to the runners around them.
As they entered the bull-ring the two bulls coming behind
joined them and after taking a circular run round the
ring they were quickly led away to the pens. The bull
taking up the rear was led by the runners with their
rolled-up papers into the passageway from Teléfonicas
where it had created some dangerous moments, and once
in the ring, it trotted some paces around the ring showing
off its imposing figure. However, it did not seem keen
on causing any panic in the ring and it quickly trotted
towards the far side to join its other companions already
safely inside the pens. This final fast-paced bull-running
of Sanfermin 2002, lasted 2 minutes and 50 seconds and
it provided the typical exciting run which always seems
to be a characteristic of these bulls from the "Hijos
de Eduardo Miura" breed. |
